The Bangalow Barn opens the entire property to you, its architect-designed gardens meandering gently down to lovely Byron Creek. With the Romantic Getaway, the two of you settle into one of the three bedrooms and let the rest of the property fall quiet around you.
The Barn was built from the property’s original horse stables and styled, inside and out, from recycled materials — the owners’ vision of a sustainable, eco-friendly oasis that still delivers every luxury you could want on a coastal escape. All bedrooms and the living room have split-system air conditioning and heating, so your retreat stays exactly as warm or as cool as the moment calls for. Beyond the wide, spacious decked yard, Byron Creek and the surrounding farmland roll away until you can’t help but feel miles from civilisation. That stillness is deepened by your own private outdoor shower and two vintage claw-foot bath tubs, yours throughout the stay, so you never have to leave this slice of paradise to keep enjoying it. There is a very luxurious indoor bathroom for your use as well.
While you wander the heavenly, architecturally designed gardens, follow the river-stone steps down to the private swimming hole in the freshwater of Byron Creek, fed by natural springs upstream — the perfect place to close a warm Northern Rivers day.
