A short 350m walk from cosmopolitan Beaumont Street and an endless range of cafes, pubs and transport options. Gordon Deco offers guests a unique experience combining furnishings from yesteryear with modern amenities.
Circa 1936, Gordon Deco has impressive ornate ceilings created by the Master Plasterer of the Civic Theatre.
The front of the house retains the original features and is furnished in Art Deco style. There are two opulent double bedrooms, and a huge master king bedroom which also includes air conditioning and built-in wardrobes. The original bathroom with bath and shower is still in incredible condition for their age.
The enormous lounge room with ample seating includes a 5 seater 1930's club lounge, large smart TV and air conditioning. The room opens onto a sitting room with a gas fire place, dedicated work space including desk, more seating and a double pull out sofa bed.
The back of the house has a modern and bright feel with kitchen, 2 indoor dining areas, bathroom and laundry. The kitchen has 6 burner gas cooking, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and cooking essentials.
The second bathroom has a large accessible shower and toilet and includes washing machine and dryer.
Outside you will find two sunny courtyards, 8 seater alfresco dining area on the covered deck, and plenty of free street parking. (NB: The garage is the owner's personal storage space. There is no access to the garage)
Gordon Deco is centrally located so once you park your car, you can set and forget for your entire stay.

Gordon Deco is not really suitable for small children due to the amount of original glass and furnishings. Please contact us to discuss if you would like to bring any children under 10 years old. Children over 10 and small babies (not crawling) are ok.

Any damages, loss and theft will be billed to the guest and payment will be required.
We love our space and have procured decor from all over the world to be admired. Replacement of items will be at the guests cost.
