The Garden Oasis is an adorable, small, quiet, cosy,
secure cottage/studio with heating and airconditioning, It was built in 1924 and updated in 2020 keeping some 1924 character features, ie a low (padded) beam between the kitchen and dining that tall people would need to duck and lovely old multi paned windows. There are only 2 steps outside and 2 steps inside. It has been operating since 2020 for solo females and is now hosting returning and satisfied guests.
It is set behind the main house facing the garden and is completely separate with no shared facilities. It has its own outdoor dining area amongst the shrubs, hedges and a huge macadamia tree.
It Is modern, comfortable, clean, sunny, airy and full of light, suitable for a short stay for a solo female up to a maximum of 7 nights only.

The Garden Oasis is located in a quiet, wide! tree-lined street with FREE ALL DAY PARKING. In 10 minutes you can walk to Lane Cove Village which has many restaurants, pubs, clubs, cafes and shops including the major supermarkets
Please note Tambourine Bay Road has a upward slope but depending on your fitness there is a bus to the shopping centre a short walk away
The main bus exchange is a 10 minute walk and the express buses run to the city in 8 minutes. Another bus, even closer will take you to McMahon's Point wharf where you can take the ferry to Circular Quay passing the Opera House and going under the Harbour Bridge.
Lane Cove River winds through the suburb with parks with water access and many bush walks.. Blackman Oval,on the river, is wonderful for walkers, nature lovers, dog lovers etc sport watchers.
The large beaches are a good 30 mins away ie Balmoral, Manly etc. Often booking sites called rivers beaches by mistake
