Raintree is a secluded retreat nestled in the escarpment just south of Berry and surrounded by 17 hectares of protected rainforest. It is the perfect place in the countryside to escape, relax and unwind. Enjoy towering blue gums and immerse yourself in nature. Explore the established gardens and rainforest paths surrounding the retreat, visit the goats and look east to admire beautiful views across the fields to Mount Coolangatta. Arrive to cool mountain breezes in summer or a warm wood fire in winter.
Guest accommodation is a private apartment in a separate wing of the retreat with a choice of two bedrooms - suitable for one couple or two singles. It would also suit two couples or a family travelling together who don’t mind sharing the facilities. The apartment includes your private lounge, dining and kitchenette (no oven) with air conditioning and wood fire for your year round comfort. All guest rooms overlook the garden and forest with private decks and entrance. There is designated guest parking with night lighting. Bedrooms are generous in size with comfortable queen size beds.
Take the time to pamper yourself in the claw foot bath after a day of exploring. Relax and unwind in front of the wood fire or access your private decks through French doors and enjoy the garden and forest outlook.
Come and enjoy historic Berry which has many shops - homewares, galleries, clothing, books, crafts and food. Relax with a snack or meal in one of the many cafes or restaurants.
