Positive: I was always worried when I saw traveller reviews for other resorts in Suryalanka/Chirala/Bapatla. Golden Sands - By The Bay turned out to be a pleasant surprise with good location, landscaping, proximity to the beach and maintenance. Had great professional service experience - with Mr Sudharshan setting the right tone from the top and everybody else in the staff demonstrating service mindset. Mr Srinivas from Front Desk and Mr Veera from Dining made our stay even more pleasant. If the Honourable Governor of the state chooses to stay there with his family and staff, it already says a lot about the place.
